Digital printer delivers color impact and variable printing on-demand.
Business is good for Kanani Foods, Las Vegas, Nevada. The wholesaler of sushi, salads and sandwiches has grown from an 800-sq.- ft. facility to a 20,000-sq.-ft. operation and added many retail customers to its foodservice base. Tim Cruz, vice president of Operations for Kanani Foods, credits an L801 color label printer from Afinia Label (Booth E-8444) Chanhassen, Minnesota, for much of the company’s growth. He says, “We didn’t realize that our old, thermal printing technology was drastically hindering our growth until we invested in the L801.” …
Imagine doing seven hours of work in just 25 minutes.
That is what the Afinia Label L801 Digital Label Printer has done for Kanani Foods, of Las Vegas, NV.
Prior to switching to the Afinia Label L801, Kanani Foods was using a thermal printer for their food label production. Not only was the job time consuming, but their labels were also aesthetically subpar. After a customer approached them about the look of their labels (the customer said, “We love your products and hate your labels”), Kanani Foods made the leap to the L801, and started experiencing major savings. See their case study here to learn how the L801 has helped them maintain FDA compliance while decreasing labor and increasing savings.
