Warranty Service and Maintenance
January 23, 2014 – Chanhassen, MNAfinia Label, a leader in providing Memjet-based label printers to the narrow-web industry, has named BancTec as their warranty service and maintenance provider.
“We’re experiencing strong US sales growth of our L801 Memjet-based label printer and were looking for the right maintenance partner, said Mitch Ackmann, Afinia’s President. “BancTec’s Print Room Services Group specializes in the maintenance of high-speed, continuous-roll feed printers. They know the territory and are a great fit for our customers.”
Afinia’s L801 delivers full-color print speeds as high as 60’/minute and advanced PMS color-matching and variable data printing capability with the optional Wasatch SoftRIP software. The L801 has proven to be popular with not only narrow-web print shops but also brand owners and logistics facility operators.
BancTec’s Senior Strategic Account Executive, Scott Nadler added, “Our field and support teams are Afinia-certified and maintain their edge through ongoing training. New technicians learn from, and are guided by, a team of industry veterans. BancTec field professionals can respond to service requests at any time, and leverage a network of service alliance partnerships that ensure peak, regular maintenance, or short-term responses.”
BancTec currently maintains equipment in thousands of North American print shops. Since many Afinia L801’s are installed in those locations, it is logical to have them serviced by BancTec.
Afinia Label, a division of Microboards Technology LLC, has been shipping the L801 Label Printer since early 2013. Based on revolutionary printing technology from Memjet , the L801 is positioned to bridge the gap between high speed and desktop printing applications by putting variable, full-color print in the hands of a wide range of users.
BancTec’s Multi-Vendor Services offer a broad range of customizable service solutions for life-cycle support and maintenance of OEM equipment found in multiple industries – with the skill set to support a multitude of products ranging from complex electro-mechanical devices, to simple PCs, document scanners and printers.
